We’re looking forward to a joyful year ahead as we prepare for the First Sacraments at Saint Mark! This special journey includes First Reconciliation in December and First Holy Communion in May—a beautiful and grace-filled time for our children and families.

To participate, registration is required, and parents will need to attend an orientation meeting to help guide and support their child’s preparation.

The Church teaches that the Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.”

“The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.” Catechism of the Catholic Church §1324

This year, we’re excited to streamline our scheduling and communication through ParishStaq, our new parish management platform. If your family is already registered at any parish within the Archdiocese of Seattle, you likely have a ParishStaq account ready for activation (if you haven’t done so already).

To get started, simply click the ‘Join’ button under ‘First Holy Communion’ below.

We look forward to walking with your family during this sacred season of preparation!
