The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” “The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.” CCC #1324
Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion will begin in October, 2020
Students in St. Mark School will participate in the program as part of the Religious Education curriculum.
Children who are members of St. Mark Parish and who have reached the age of seven are invited to join the preparation for these first sacraments. The program is the same as at the school, but will be arranged for after school or evening. In this time of pandemic, we may use remote learning (Zoom). The link to the registration form is below.
Older children who have been baptized Catholic but have never received first sacraments may participate, or a special preparation will be arranged.
