A new page on our site: local resources

Over the last several years, many parishioners and visitors have come to our parish asking not only for assistance, but for references to reliable and trustworthy resources in our area. Though no list is exhaustive, we have done our best to create a resource that offers a variety of resources for the needs that might present themselves in our community.

Please check out our the new page we have created on our website, titled simply “Local resources“. This is also accessible in the “Ministry & outreach” dropdown menu throughout our website. We will do our best to regularly review this list. That said, if you have suggestions or feedback, please feel free to share them with us! We hope that this is a useful reference page for you and your loved ones.

End of summer picnic

On Sunday, August 28th from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm (or thereabouts), Saint Mark will be having an end-of-summer picnic & BBQ. All are welcome to come, enjoy food & fellowship – as well as a bouncy house and games!

The picnic will be behind the school – please plan on parking by the gym or in front of the church.

Of course, every picnic needs help from the participants! Please visit the online sign-up form to choose what you will bring and help us get an accurate count of how many will be coming. We look forward to seeing you there!

May Pastoral Council minutes (2022-05-19)

Saint Mark pastoral council is pleased to share the minutes of the May meeting of our pastoral council. The pastoral council meets on the third Thursday of each month.

Generally speaking, minutes will be available within five weeks of the preceding meeting – this allows the council to review the minutes, approve them with any changes, and the secretary to edit them accordingly before they are published online.

Rosary & funeral Mass for Teresa ‘Tess’ Schoen
Thursday, July 7, 2022

This Thursday (July 7, 2022), we will offer a rosary (10:30 am) and celebrate a funeral Mass (11:00 am) for Tess Schoen – all are welcome. A reception will be held in Sullivan Hall following the Mass. Tess’ family has prepared an obituary, which can be read online here: https://obituaries.seattletimes.com/obituary/teresa-schoen-1085615903

Let us pray together for Tess, her siblings, and all who love them. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
